Originally built in the early 20th century, Jaswant Bhawan was the private residence of Pandit Jaswant Raj Ji, a respected nobleman and Astrologer in the court of the Maharaja of Jodhpur. The house still retains its original Rajasthani architectural elements, including intricately carved jharokhas, stone courtyards, and hand-painted walls, echoing stories of a glorious era gone by.
What was once a noble family home is now lovingly preserved and opened to travelers from around the world. Today, Jaswant Bhawan Homestay is run by his descendants, who have transformed this ancestral haveli into one of the best homestays in Jodhpur for families, couples, solo travelers, and cultural explorers alike.
